TO FORT DRUM:
Fort Drum is located just north of Watertown, NY. Take Exit 48 on I-81 and make a right onto Route 342 and go straight until the intersection on Route 342 and Route 283. This will be the third light since I-81 (At the second light these was a McDonald's off to your left). Turn left at the light, this will be Fort Drum's Main Gate. Go past the Guard house and make your first right on PO Valley Road. Proceed past the Inn at Drum and make a right on Conway Road. Take Conway Road until Nash Blvd. Make a left on Nash Blvd. LOOK FOR SIGNS.
From New York City and points south - Take I-17 West to I-81 North until Exit 48, follow directions above.
From the west - Take NYS Thruway (I-90) to I-481 North to I-81 North until exit 48 and follow directions above.
From Albany and points east - NYS Thruway (I-90) to Utica, follow signs to Route 12 north to Watertown, take Route 11 north, take a right at McDonald's by base, follow directions above.
