SUBJECT: NYWG Color Guard Competition Letters of Intent

1.  New York Wing will be conducting a color guard competition 
soon (March or April) to determine who will post the colors at 
the Wing Conference (3-5 May), and compete at the NER Cadet 
Competition (17-19 May) for the right to advance to National.

2.  Groups with a color guard are highly encouraged to submit 
a team to compete at the wing level.  Any group that has a 
color guard for their group ball should be able to submit a 
team to the competition at wing.  The rules for Color Guard 
competitions are available on the National CAP webpage under 
"Cadet Programs" then "National Cadet Competition".

3.  Groups interested in participating need only send an email 
to me, at val_n_andy@hotmail.com, indicating they intend to 
submit a team, by 28 Feb 02.  Group-level competitions are encouraged.
