TO ALL FORT DRUM ENCAMPMENT PARTICIPANTS

Due to the high volume of units requesting support from Fort Drum this
year, the Post has cancelled Civil Air Patrol on the earlier-posted dates.
 
We have been able to secure NEW DATES:  26 JULY - 6 AUGUST.  We
are fortunate that we have been able to get accommodations during this
busy year.  This is a reminder to us all that we are on an active military
installation.  Unfortunately, Civil Air Patrol must give precedence to our
full time soldiers.  
 
We shall need to reschedule all previously-made 
arrangements.  This includes van and aircraft requests and
 reservations to Military Housing for those seniors not billeting 
in the barracks.  Any senior that needs billeting at UPH 
(Unaccompanied Personnel Housing), call 315-772-5435.
There are a few cottages available for married personnel.
If you intend on staying in barracks, please indicate request on 
application or by e-mail if application already submitted .  
We have limited availability.    
 
All members need to reevaluate their availability during this newly- 
acquired time block.  It will be necessary for senior members and cadet
staff to send e-mail to me affirming availability or notifying of non-
availability immediately.  I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes
to members that  already  scheduled vacation or work leave and conflicts
with National Activities or IACE.
 
All staff will be reporting on the evening of the 26th and cadets in 
flight will be reporting the 28th.   
 
Letters for staff appointments will be mailed shortly.
